Polyimides Based on Feedstocks from Renewable Sources

چکیده
Aromatic polyimides constitute a group of special polymers with excellent thermal and mechanical properties. However, they are insoluble infusible due to strong intermolecular interactions. For this reason, approaches sought that would lead an improvement these properties open the possibility extend use polyimides. The interest protect environment leads also searching for alternative, namely, recent feedstocks, which could replace fossil ones. This work is focused on potentially monomers synthesis their

متن کاملPerformance Based Support of Renewable Energy Sources
The rules of a number of electricity markets encourage renewable energy production and demand response through fixed support schemes and socialize the costs of integrating this production trough grid tariffs. These mechanisms are not economically efficient because they do not rely on market-based prices and do not consider the actual costs of achieving reliable system operation. This paper pres...
متن کاملMassive Energy Production from Renewable Sources
Renewable and non-conventional distributed energy resources (DERs), such as, wind, solar PV, micro-turbines, fuel cells, diesel generators etc. are gradually becoming more popular as energy efficient and low-emission energy sources. Demand-side management, along with the integration of distributed energy generation and storage, are considered increasingly essential elements for implementing the...
متن کاملBifunctional Adsorbent-Catalytic Nanoparticles for the Refining of Renewable Feedstocks
A hybrid adsorbent-catalytic nanostructured material consisting of aminopropyl groups and nickel nanoparticles immobilized in mesoporous silica nanoparticles (APNi-MSN) was employed to selectively capture free fatty acids (FFAs) and convert them into saturated hydrocarbons. The working principle of these sorbent-catalytic particles was initially tested in the hydrogenation of oleic acid. Beside...
